2nd Beta Day

Well, I went in for my second beta. It’s just too bad that I will now need to wait till tomorrow to know the result.

This time things went pretty fast. I was called in almost immediately and the nurse told me congratulations again, that they will call me tomorrow with the result to let me know everything’s ok, and that we’re gonna go ahead and schedule my sonogram now for June 29th. She said that if that day is bad I can reschedule. I stared at it for a little bit on the calendar and asked if we can make it June 26th. She said sure. So there it was and I was off to the lab. I could not think of any questions and just asked if I should just continue the progesterone – yes.

At the lab I was called in pretty quickly too and at 8:35 was having my blood drawn, by a guy this time. Once again I asked him for good numbers, which he agreed to give me. Of course I prayed as my blood was drawn. It’s gonna be a long wait but I’ll try to keep busy.

I have been extremely healthy I’m happy to say. No junk food at all. And I’ve gone to the gym ever since I’ve been clear to do so. I’m determined to exercise daily and be as healthy as humanly possible. But I tell you, its hard to keep my heart rate under 140. I monitor constantly on the threadmill and have to work out at a much lower intensity than what I’m used to.
Oh well.

For now I’m just enjoying the quiet lull before the symptoms kick in, if it is anything like last time. I’m just a little more tired, but otherwise feel great. Enjoying it while it lasts. And of course praying for a good number tomorrow!
